My personal bike check – Rocky Mountain Altitude 730

It took a bit to complete the assembly of my bike, but finally here she is!!

I’ve decided to use a Rocky Mountain Altitude 730, year 2013, in size L as I’m 1,85m tall.
Suspensions are all RockShox with a Pike RCT3 160mm and Monarch RT3.
Brakes are the new Sram Guide RS with 200mm disks front and rear.
Transmission is a Sram, X1 with 30T chainring and 175mm cranks.
Wheels are still original Wheeltech and Sunrimes, except for the rear Nuke Proof hub.
The assembly is completed with a stealth Reverb, Funn Full-on 750 handlebar, Race Face stem, Maxxis High Roller II tires, Maxxis tubes and Sram grips.

Total weight without pedals is 14,00 kg

I’ve tried to have a balanced assembly, with top suspension a non-so-top yet super funcional and reliable transmission.
It’s not super light, but is absolutely reliable, super reactive and easy to ride thanks to the mid sized wheels!
